Support For Off-Campus Students

Curtin Careers, Employment & Leadership provides career support to current Curtin students and recent graduates, regardless of location.

Access to our free and confidential support service is readily available to students who cannot visit Bentley Campus. You can now book an appointment online directly with one of our Career Development Consultants. Select what suits you - consultations via online 'face-time', telephone or email.

This service applies to students and recent graduates who are, or have recently been, enrolled in one of the following categories:

  • OUA student
  • Regional or external student
  • Online or mixed mode student (fully online units in a semester)
  • Undertaking a semester of fieldwork related to your degree

  1. Complete the Career Support For Off-Campus Students form
    You will need to provide details of your student ID, your course and mode of study, what kind of career assistance you are looking for and your preferred appointment type:
    • Online ‘face-time:’ We utilise VSee (a program similar to Skype) - simple to download and encrypted for security. You can also select Skype if you prefer.
    • Telephone: Please provide your contact number. 
    • Email: Please provide us with all of your career related questions via email.
  2. You will then receive a confirmation email
    This will allow you to access our Career Development Consultants’ calendars. You can then select from available appointment times. 

Appointments can be booked up to two weeks in advance. Only one appointment can be booked in this time period.

If a suitable time is not available, please contact us on (08) 9266 7802 or via email at careers@curtin.edu.au, using 'Off-Campus Support Availability' in the subject line. We will do our best to accommodate your needs. 

Please note, this service is for support with career planning, decision-making, job search strategies and mock interviews. For advice on job application documents such as resumes, cover letters and selection criteria, please submit your documents through your career development dashboard on UniHub at any time.
