Posting and receiving mail

Find out everything you need to about posting and receiving mail in Western Australia, including the location of post boxes on/near campus and what can't be posted to Australia.

Australia Post is Australia's official postal system and provides a letter service accessible to all residents of Australia. Visit the Australia Post website for information about costs, address formatting on envelopes and other related issues.

There is one Australia Post mail box on campus outside Building 200a on Dumas Road (see map).

There are two post offices close to the Bentley campus:

  • 4 Hill View Place, Bentley - Closest to residents of Vickery House
  • 230 Manning Road, Village Green Shopping Centre, Karawara - Closest to residents of all other student housing establishments.

To locate these places use Australia Post's Post Office Locator. Alternatively, check out Google Maps.

Important note:

There are strict guidelines as to what can be mailed to Australia. The Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry (DAFF) is responsible for managing Australia’s biosecurity system and reducing the risk of pests and diseases arriving in the country. Food, plant and animal products from overseas will be assessed by DAFF.

Visit the DAFF website for advice on what can be brought or sent to Australia.
