Curtin offers a range of support services for LGBTI students and staff. Some of these services are highlighted below, and the full range is available on the CurtinLife website.
Curtin Student Guild Queer Department and CLAG Collective
The Curtin Student Guild’s Queer Department and associated CLAG Collective are a great service for any gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, intersex, queer or questioning (GLBTIQQ) student studying at Curtin. The CLAG Collective is a social avenue for students providing support, social activities and information to members. See the Queer Department on the Guild website for more information.
Counselling Services provide a confidential service to students and staff, including assistance with issues relating to sexual identity, interpersonal relationships and related issues. These services are accessible by all students and staff identifying as LGBTIQ.
Health Services provides medical and nursing services for students and staff. These services are supportive of LGBTI students and staff.
Ethics, Equity & Social Justice
Ethics, Equity & Social Justice provides information on the rights and responsibilities of individuals according to equal opportunity legislation and related University policies and procedures.

The Transitioning at Curtin guide is currently being developed as a tool to support trans and intersex students.
Say no to homophobia
The Freedom Centre is a safe space for young gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and questioning people to meet, chat, hang out and access information. Located in Northbridge, Perth.
WA AIDS Council
The WA AIDS Council leads WA in the provision of a wide range of services in the prevention of HIV, and the support of those living with HIV/AIDS. This includes information about support and education programs for same sex attracted, as well as a counselling service for LGBTI people.
Pride Western Australia
Pride Western Australia advocates for gay and lesbian issues in Western Australia.
Living Proud WA
Living Proud Inc is a charitable organisation dedicated to serving the LGBTI community in WA. They offer a range of services and run events supporting this community.
Parents and Friends of Lesbians and Gays Perth
Parents and Friends of Lesbians and Gays (PFLAG) Perth provide a support system to understand and accept loved ones who are gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender or intersex with love and pride.
The Chameleon Society WA
The Chameleon Society WA is a support and social group for Crossdressers, Transsexuals, their partners and other people or businesses involved with the transgender community.
GLBTI Retirement Association Incorporated
Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender and Intersex Retirement Association Inc (GRAI) advocates for the development of retirement and aged care services and facilities for older people of diverse sexualities and gender identities.

The Western Australia Police is committed to reducing violence, crime and fear in the sexually diverse community by improving the relationship between police and the LGBTI community.

Same Sex Domestic Abuse Group is committed to raising community awareness of domestic violence between individuals with diverse gender and sexuality expression.

The Australian Research Centre in Sex, Health and Society (ARCSHS) is a centre for social research into sexuality, health, and the social dimensions of human relationships, based at La Trobe University.
The National LGBTI Health Alliance
The National LGBTI Health Alliance is the national peak health organisation in Australia for organisations and individuals that provide health-related programs, services and research focused on lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and intersex people and other sexuality and gender diverse (LGBTI) people and communities.
