Fees and charges
Here you will find out about fees and charges for Curtin University health services. Information about medical benefits is also provided here.
Curtin University Health Service bulk bills all full-time students with Medicare Cards for doctor's visits. This means the cost is paid directly by Medicare. If you do not have your own Medicare Card you can apply for one through any Medicare Office. There may be extra charges for vaccines or other services. Part-time students may be bulk-billed at the doctor's discretion.
International students with Medibank Private, Overseas Student Health Cover (Allianz Global Assistance), BUPA or AHM normally have their account sent directly to their health insurer. Other international students may have to pay the account and then claim from their insurer. Please note that insurance will not cover vaccines for adults or some other medical services.
Staff are charged a private fee which is partly refunded by Medicare.
EFTPOS and credit card facilities are available for payment of all accounts. Please note that we do not accept American Express.
Please ask our receptionist for our current fees.
