Advice and assistance is available for visitors to Curtin University with disability, as well as their companions.

If you are attending an event or visiting a Curtin campus and have particular needs related to a disability or medical condition, please contact the parties arranging the visit or event.

Disability Services is also available to advise on:

  • Physical access difficulties
  • Parking
  • Dietary requirements
  • Hearing loops
  • Auslan interpreters
  • Other needs as required.

Please give us as much notice as possible prior to your visit.

Please note: Levels of assistance may vary across campuses according to availability.

Curtin Security is also available to assist with any access needs on Bentley campus (subject to availability).

Carers and companions

Curtin is an affiliate of the Companion Card Program, which gives people with disability equitable access to Curtin community activities and events.

Under this program, Curtin has agreed to issue cardholders with a second ticket to Curtin events for their companions at no additional cost. The cardholder will be required to present the card when making the request.
