Curtin's Asia Study Tour

Explore Southeast Asia while earning academic credit.

The three week Asian Study Tour typically visits three diverse Southeast Asian countries, characterised by rapidly growing human populations, increasing population movement and expectations of accelerating economic development.

Tours are designed to broaden your perspective and teach you essential skills for dealing with new and different environments. Past tours have visited China, Vietnam, Malaysia, Taiwan, Laos, Thailand, India and Tibet. In each country you will explore:

  • the history
  • culture and business customs
  • the current economic outlook and the business environment
  • the challenges and opportunities associated with their development.

Each study program runs for three weeks in January/February and/or November/December each year.

The tour is overseen by a Curtin faculty member and allows participants to experience first-hand the vast changes that are occurring in Asia.
