Elite Athlete Scholarships

The Elite Athlete scholarship has been developed to support elite athletes in attaining excellence in their chosen sport whilst maintaining high academic achievements.
Curtin University is proud to be a member of the Elite Athlete Friendly University (EAFU) Network, an initiative of the Australian Sporting Commission.
Since its conception in 2004, the EAFU Program at Curtin University has contributed significant resources to ensure elite athletes receive the required support to be able to successfully integrate their academic and sporting aspirations. The program is managed by Curtin Stadium and is strongly endorsed by the Vice-Chancellor.

The Elite Athlete Grant will provide the following support for up to one year:
◾A total value ranging from $1,500 to $5,000 paid as a cash stipend ranging from $750 to $2,500 per semester. The amount can be used at the recipient’s discretion to contribute towards sports training and development.

Payments are based on full-time enrollment. Part-time enrolment will result in part-time payment.
