Youth Mental Health Program

Exercise is an effective treatment method for acute and chronic mental health concerns.

There is mounting evidence that suggests exercise is an effective treatment method for acute and chronic mental health concerns.


The Youth Mental Health program is run specifically for the those in the age range of 17 - 25 years old as 75% of all mental health conditions will present themselves before an individual is 25 years of age.

Program details:

Who   17-25 years old with Mental Health issues, and a level of readiness to participate in a supervised exercise program
What  1hr gym-based individualised exercise program, combining both aerobic, resistance, stretching and relaxation
When  Mondays and Wednesdays, 10:30-11:30am and evening timeslots coming soon.
The program will be run on an ongoing basis
Where   Curtin Stadium (Building 111 Kent St Bentley)
Cost  Curtin Student Casual Price - $10 per class (otherwise $12)
