Curtin Wesley Football Club Pink Tiger Day

The Curtin University Wesley Football Club raised an amazing $42,000 for the McGrath Foundation at their annual Pink Tiger Day on Saturday 12 May at Curtin University’s South Oval.

A record crowd came together to watch the Curtin Wesley A Grade team take on Fremantle CBC in their pink jumpers.


Master of Ceremonies, Nova 937’s Nat Locke spoke throughout the event while guests enjoyed food, beverages and entertainment. With the support from major sponsor Shakespeare Partners, a range of sponsors and donors and the fundraising auction, a record amount of funds were raised at the event.


Breast cancer survivor Nicole Gray shared her story with the guests who filled the marquees and Mcgrath Foundation founder Tracy Bevan also attended in support of the event.


Pink Tiger Day is the largest fundraiser for the McGrath Foundation run by any community sports club Australia-wide. Over the past eight years the clubs has raised over $270,000 for the foundation.
