Supporting gender transition at Curtin - have your say!

[Posted: 14 May 2015]

We want your feedback on our draft guide about gender transition at Curtin.

International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia

To coincide with the International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia (IDAHO), we want your feedback on the draft guide 'Trans* Support - A Guide About Gender Transition at Curtin University'. The guide is a joint initiative of the Curtin Ally Program and Curtin's Office of Ethics, Equity & Social Justice.

We encourage students, staff and the broader Curtin community to give your feedback to eesj@curtin.edu.au by Friday 5 June 2015.

The International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia began in 2004 to draw the attention of policymakers, opinion leaders, social movements, the public and the media to the discrimination, homophobia and transphobia which deny millions of people across the world their basic human dignity.

Curtin respects and values the diversity of its students, staff and university community and is committed to creating an environment free from discrimination and harassment and is proud to support events related to IDAHOT.

See the sexuality and gender diversity section of the website for more information on Curtin's services in this area.
