Curtin Stadium has just installed the new functional SYNRGY360!


Synrgy 360

The ground breaking Synrgy 360 system is designed to provide a unique variety of functional exercises. The Synrgy 360 is about more than just working out. The revolutionary concept provides limitless opportunities to train smarter, better, and more effectively. It’s a full-service training centre that can be tailored to serve the broad scope of exerciser goals.

Our Synrgy 360 T has many exercise options. It has some fantastic options for functional training, which includes an adjustable step up platform, rock grip chin up handles, battle ropes, TRX suspension trainer, dips handle, power pivot, suspension chin up bar and a variety of accessories such as medicine balls, kettlebells and power bands.

Workout Using the Suspension Trainer

Functional Training

Functional training, if performed correctly, will lead to better joint mobility and stability, as well as more efficient motor patterns. Improving these factors decreases the potential for an injury sustained during an athletic endeavour performance in a sport. The benefits may arise from the use of training that emphasizes the body's natural ability to move in six degrees of freedom.
All human movement is a combination of various functions. Human movement cannot take place without muscular function.
Functional -
1. Capable of operating or functioning
2. Capable of serving the purpose for which it was intended

In order to maximize human performance the factors that play the greatest role in performance during functional training are:
 Power (Strength and Speed)
 Agility (Flexibility/Mobility/Stability)
 Cardiovascular and Respiratory Conditioning
 Sport Skill (Neuromuscular Coordination and Efficiency)
