The Curtin Stadium Active Seniors are a fit and friendly bunch.

When they are not exercising in the Fitness Centre as part of the CSAS program, they love to socialise.

Around 50 program members enjoyed the ultimate social opportunity on Monday at the annual Seniors Morning Tea at Curtin Stadium.

Exercise Physiologist Supervisor and CSAS program coordinator Rebecca Morony said the Christmas morning tea was a great way to thank the members and add a social aspect to the program.

"It's important to maintain mental and social health as well as physical, plus it's a great opportunity for all of the different class groups to get together," she said.

There are currently over 100 members participating in the CSAS over 50's program which has been run at Curtin Stadium for over seven years.

If you are interested in finding out more about the program for yourself or someone you know, visit our CSAS page or email Rebecca Morony.
